Migrator Issues importing Wordpress XML to Joomla

Hello,

I am currently developing a new Joomla site for a customer and trying to move their blog files over to EasyBlog in Joomla. I exported numerous different XML versions from their existing Wordpress blog but none of them would import completely....

NOTE: site is being developed locally on my laptop so no access from the web. I am willing to do a screen share session though.

On import, EasyBlog would never display progress (just a spinning disc) but would import a few files/blog articles (20 to 40) at a time and then just hang/stall. Again, no status/progess of the import ever showed. I have tried different browsers (Safari, Chrome and Mozilla) all with the same results. If I refresh the migrator page and purge history and try again, it will import more (new) blog.articles but also randomly duplicate others that have already been imported but not every time.

Also, another symptom I have seen is when I try to delete/trash posts. It will only let me trash around 40 to 50 and then go to white screen. I need to go back, refresh the page, and then it shows them as deleted. If I delete like 10 or less at a time it functions normally. Again, I cannot delete more than that or it just goes to white (blank) screen and none will be deleted it is more than 40 or 50 at once.

I am doing the development locally on a Mac using the most current version of MAMP Pro 3.4. I am using:

EasyBlog 5.0.30
PHP 5.6.10
SQL: 5.5.42
Joomla! 3.4.5
Current User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_2) AppleWebKit/601.3.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/9.0.2 Safari/601.3.9

Thank You for your assistance!
