Migrating an EasySocial installation. OK to ignore media/com_es/tmp folder contents?

Hi, I'm migrating my EasySocial site from one web server to another.

I notice theres a media/com_easysocial/tmp folder... is it safe to exclude that (it's quite large) on the basis that tmp is 'temporary'?... if so I assume it's equally safe to jump in and empty that folder from time to time if I need to be saving space on my server?
