Login Layout and Guest view only

Hi Stackideas Team

I have set up a menu here:

Following the instructions here:

I am trying to get it to appear for guests only.
i.e. it should disappear when a user is logged in.

I have followed the instructions here to the best of my ability:

a) created a group called “guest”
b) Set “guest” User Groups Having Viewing Access to “guest”
c) Set the Login Layout menu “Access” to “guest” only
And I do not see the menu.

I have since switched it back to “Public” so that you can see the menu in the front end.

Could some one kindly tell me what I am missing?
