I do not know if that is already working, or is a feature request. I think that it is great to show items ONLY for member's same country. I use EasySocial only in my country now, and it was really great. Now, we are going to other countries.
Eg, if someone is from Italy, then it is nice to show only friends suggestions from Italy, groups from Italy, or events from Italy.
The best is to show each nearest item, according to member's adress. That will be really really great.
