Limit use of signatures to certain groups?

I'd like to limit the use of signatures to only users in certain groups. I don't see a way to do this natively as part of EasyDiscuss. Is there a hack that I can add to the theme file so that "if in this group, show the signature / else hide"?

Hint: this would be a great feature in the future!
