So much potential. Would be great if you select Forum layout that the button changes from Ask a Question to New Post.
More importantly, it would be great to show a combination of 1 and 2 (love seeing how many posts, replies in the first thing they see but I love in screen 2 it showing subcategories grouped... its very clean. i would ask for the addition to hide resolved posts in the initial. if they go to the category itself, then they can see all open and resolved items.
