latest blog module...

Hi All! Not sure how to ask this question without confusing everyone. I'lll try. Ok, so I set up the latest blog module and set it to my homepage. When I click the link to read the latest blog, it takes me to a messy URL http://WEBSITE.COM/component/easyblog/entry/welcome-our-new-blo?Itemid=101 and the page has ALL modules on it. But when I go to the blog through the top menu, the page looks normal with only the modules that I have assigned (and want) to the Blog pages, and the URL is clean http://WEBSITE.COM/blog/entry/welcome-our-new-blog

Sorry if I am confusing! Hopefully you know what I am talking about. I want the front page link to go to the normal page.
