Hi,
I had a one-to-one session with a Google mentor last week and they brought up a few issues they had seen when running Pagespeed.web.dev on Masquerading.com
One of the things that they raised were the language switcher flags, as an example, highlighting that image elements do not have explicit width and height.
I know that when I have looked at pagespeed.web.dev it is very daunting and huge minefield of things that could be eliminated or amended easily.
I know I will need to take caution with amending anything so as not to break the site, but is there anything that you can suggest that could be done easily to increase the result, as the performance is showing RED 46 on mobile devices yet AMBER 83 on desktops.
The language switcher flags issue image size it's just one thing that they highlighted, but if you run page speed on masquerading.com, you will see that first content for paint is 5.7 seconds, speed index is 8.9 seconds largest content for paint is 6.3 seconds…
