It is not possible to perform profile updates

Hello,
we are just in final setup and configuration phase for our new website based on Joomla 4 and are using combination of EasySocial with PayPlans and EasyBlog.

We are facing an issue now with EasySocial that after user registration the user is not able to complete the profile by using the top link. Nothing happens when the user clicks on the link.
Same situation when he tries the profile update link.

Only when we use the direct link I can access the profile page:
https://abc-deutsch.de/index.php/benutzer-dashboard/bearbeiten?activeStep=1

Please note I had a similar issue in the past resulting in page 404 error and this was fixed in
ticket

But now we simply cannot access profile page itself
