is the ".easymin" file a valid and necessary file?

i did a scan of my website to search for issues/ potential issues and this file path came up as a red flag. see below.

administrator/components/com_easydiscuss/includes/less/lib/Less/.easymin

is this a file that is bundles with the easydiscuss software... and if so, do i need to keep it?

i heard hidden files like this were not good practice for joomla. would you agree?
