Installer Failure

Hello,

After cleaning up some permissions issues on our server - our back-end successfully brought up and ran the Launcher, but the Installer fails to extract the components and errors at:

Extracting component files - Failed (at 0%)
or
Downloading Installation Files... Failed (at 0-%)

This occurs with either installing via the Network or From Directory
According to the Launcher Requirements state - the appropriate directories are writable, and PHP is configured properly.

However, I do note that in the Jommla backend - System Information > Folder Permissions shows EVERYTHING with a status of “Unwritable.” ???

Would it make a difference to attempt a partial manual install, upload unpacked zips to the
/administrator/components/com_easyblog/setup/packages/ ?
Then re-run the installer?

Any insight is helpful.
