For those of you using Universal AJAX Live Search , they just released a search plugin for ES:
http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/search-a-indexing/extensions-search/27023
In case you do not want to use the default ES search which uses joomla smart search and is kinda awkward in displaying the results.
So far, the results seems to be more accurate, and just after the 3rd letter, you can see your search results.
Give it a try and report back please.
