images for blog posts are not showing on home page feed

Upon logging in I suddenly do not see the images for the blog feed that is on my home page. This problem was first initially noticed after I restored a back up and afterward could not see my blog images. Upon this, I just reinserted the blog images to my posts and could then see them fine. However, after a few hours the posts go back to being broken links. Is there a way to fix this?
