Images don't insert, formatting doesn't save

When I create a post, the images do not insert, nor does the formatting save. I can create a blog post, but when I preview it, it is completely devoid of formatting and images. Same as when I save it and go back to view it, the images are stripped from the source code as well as the formatting.
