I just now tried to branch a reply as a question on the site (and it also had a reply already). Only to have that one I tried to branch appear to completely disappear from the front end.

https://www.drcarney.com/talk/1287-bone-loss is the original thread. I branched one reply that had also had another reply. But, that second reply did not stick with the branched one. Ouch. Now I know it says that I cannot recover this but I am wondering if I can even find it. I changed the subject line as well to be about "Getting off acid-blockers" instead of "Re: Bone Loss".

I had expected branching the one reply would move it along with any attached replies. But, I see that is not the case. :-)

How can I find the post that I branched in the front end.

I can find it in the back end. unfortunately I am not able to change it's alias. I am also getting a warning message that this message is being seen as spam"

"COM_EASYDISCUSS_AKISMET_SPAM_DETECTED"

I am wanting to change the alias to "getting-off-acid-blockers"

I am wanting to get this discussion to display on the front end.

I am wanting to somehow attach the reply to this reply.

In the future I will back up the database before trying to branch a reply and also won't try to branch a reply if that reply also has replies attached to it.

Thanks, Sean
