I cannot retrieve a saved draft when logged in as author

I have been editing a post while being logged in as simple author (member of an easyblog group).
At some point I save a draft and exit before submitting the post.
When I login as author back some time later I have no idea how to access the saved draft.
If I login as superuser then I can see the draft is there.
Could you please help?
You still have my url, username and password from my previous and still pending ticket.
