how to hide the browse link on the Apps widget that shows on the profile page?

Hi there, I want to hide the little browse option that appears on the widget on the left hand side of a profile page. For example if you go to the profile page my my admin profile (details attached to this thread) you can see on the left hand side of the page an APPS widget and then a +browser option.

What I have tried is going to Settings > General > Applications and setting application browser to NO however it still appears here - any other ideas on this one?
