How to hide 'Applications' on dashboard sidebar

We would like to hide some of the items, specifically 'Applications' from the Dashboard sidebar. I see in the template code this can be done [if ($this->config->get('users.dashboard.apps'))]. However, I can't locate this setting in the component administrator. Pls advise.
