how do i add a module in the side bar

Hey Hey how's it going just a quick question i'm trying to add modules to each side bar of the activity stream for example to add to the right where the default filter apps are and also to the left of the activity stream (i want to add them to the easysocial module possitions not to the template positions,

i think i recall it was some thing like es-sidebar-right or some thing but it doesn't seem to work

any ideas?
