How are hits calculated?

I'm having issues with determining traffic to the site. January (from Clicky Analytics for the month of January) shows a few over 1100 visits - not unique, just over 800 unique. However, a blog post posted on January 18 shows 1226 hits. Obviously, either Clicky is under-reporting or EasyBlog is over-reporting.

In EB3 there was a toggle to change reporting behavior but I don't see it in EB5. Is it still a setting? Also, how does EB5 calculate its hits?
