Hiding cover image

Hello,

1. When I select do not display cover in the admin it is hiding the entire header on the user profile page and not just the cover image. I am only trying to hide the cover image but I still need a user avatar and the other fields.

2. Clicking on the forgot password/username links on login page takes me back to the login page and error message says please login first.
