Not an issue... a trick I found out that may help other EasySocial users. By default, ES archives posts that are more than 6 months old.
Even if you change the archive limit to 1-2 years, the older posts are gone and do not appear but they are still sitting in an archive.
If you want to restore older posts from the archive so they appear again in the main page, these are the steps:
Click on Components/EasySocial/Activity Streams/Activity Streams
Change the status dropdown to Archived.
You can then select which posts to move from Archived to Active. Click on the Restore button, and they will appear again in the main stream!
Sure, a bit of manual work, but for a small site, it is alright. : )
