While I try to investigate ES pretty thoroughly, I missed the cool feature "discussions for groups". Anyways it appears that there is supposed to be some sort of editor that doesn't load as seen here (tested with protostar and my main template):

The setup of discussions looks pretty cool, once this is fixed I'll be excited to get a feel for it.
