SInce installing EasyBlog 5.0.x I have noticed that Google Webmaster Tools has been objecting to a large number of URLs associated with various EasyBlog items.
Do not misunderstand me, I know how to fix them and have already done so, but thought it worth raising as an observation for yourself and others to be aware of.
I observer that with 5.0.x ALL the URLs are now created in a form as follows: site/index.php/Blog/... which is fine (and probably preferable), however prior to 5.0.x I had a number of similar but different URLs that followed a number of forms:
a) site/index.php/EasyBlog/....
b) site/index.php/Company-Blogs/.... (Where Company is our specific company name)
etc.
I had accumulated a number of different entries in SH404SEF and the Redirect component to handle all these as they had been encountered over the years.
Having cleared these and observed Google over the past week they do not seem to be reoccurring (or to be precise only one or two are, not the hundreds previously seen) so they were (apparently) generated from within the Easyblog component in its various versions since it was first installed several years ago.
