I know there are some posts about the upcoming EU GDPR regulations, but was wondering if the AcyMailing plugin that allows site users to opt into receiving email newsletters could be amended to provide two options: Yes or No. There would be no default setting, so the user would need to actively decide whether or not to receive emails. This would ensure that the user's choice is clear and that the site owner can be confident that those who wish to be updated via email are.
