(2) Two part question.....
As I was tinkering with EasyDiscuss, I first noticed that all the URLs had a number associated with it. I have the URL shortener and alias are entered properly and original from others. Not sure what setting is needed to enter in order to remove the number within the URLs throughout all forums in EasyDiscuss.
Secondly, there seems to an issue with selecting "frontpage layout". I am able to click on the menu item in the rear created specifically for frontpage, called "forums". Yet, I can select any option; except for this layout. Even went as far as creating a new menu item and naming it something different, but it won't allow me to select "frontpage layout".
