Frontend Article

I am trying to figure out how to display blog articles on frontpage with out the toolbar, now I have found extension such as "http://www.themexpert.com/joomla-extensions/xpert-contents" but nothing else. this module works but does not display any images. I know that I can disable the toolbar but I don´t want to disable it on the main blog menu, I only want to show latest blog posts, random blog posts and most viewed blog posts. All these I want to display with different types of layout. If I use the current module that is available with EasyBlog it displays a full image with a small text. I have attatched some images to show. I have also created my own layout with smart slider 2 and it seems to work but it is not quite responsive to tablets or phones so when I resize the webpage it gets all corrupted. Does anyone know where to get a really good frontend layout system such as xpert contents, I am getting very frustrated here ? note I am no developer, that is why I went for EasyBlog, hopefully this will be resolved in latest version of EasyBlog 4.0
