Front End Sorting?

Perhaps I am missing something, but I haven't yet found a way to allow a (public) user on the front end to sort the posts. By default we sort with the newest at the top, which is how I want it. But it would be nice to give visitors additional ways of sorting the posts.

If it matters:

• I don't use the blog toolbar, could that be why there is not a sort option?
  
• I use the menu type (Posts) Frontpage.
