Fabrik or something else?

Hi,

I need to achieve a whole load of things that none of the current social network providers currently produce (which I now realize are niche to me). I can't afford to wait until a developer creates them anymore, and don't think its fair to ask them to create niche products I want (and when it comes to needing more work on them, the upkeep financially of that). So decided to give it a go myself (just some simple applications for my own needs). My question is, I am dabbling with both Fabrik and Joomla Component Creator (which is shown as a partner with StackIdeas) at the moment, but not sure which (if any is the best option).

Wih Fabrik, their component has to be installed on every site that I want to install whatever application I create (for me this is not an issue, as I am only looking to develop for my site). However, I would like to know which will be best to work with from an EasySocial perspective, as this is what I want to develop my applications for - for myself (I am looking for the easiest solution to work with - not being a coder. My questions are:

Which is easier for a novice to learn who has little knowledge of codeing?
Which integrates best (or has ability to integrate best) with EasySocial?
Which (of the above but including other applications I am not aware of) would stack ideas recommend?
Is there any help/guidance for someone looking to head down this path i.e. on integrating Joomla components into stackideas products?

Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated

Mel
