Events Widget for Event Owner should include past events

When I login as an owner of an expired event, my 'Events' widget in the sidebar says 'No Events Available' - This makes it very hard to find an old event to edit it (my users do this, updating the date of their past events to make them future events).

So my request is that the 'Events' widget includes past events owned by that user. They could be under a sub-heading of 'past events' or flagged in some way to show their 'past' status.
