Hello I think one of the fixes in 3.0.2 was intended to ensure events can't be created without a 'type' (see original issue at https://stackideas.com/forums/posted-photo-not-showing-on-event-timeline which is closed so I can't update there)
Just saying I'm still getting the issue.
I just created an event in the "other" category front-end and it gets created without the "type" - so I have to go to backend and edit it - set it to private, and then set it to public in order to get it to have a 'public' type.
If this wasn't part of the 3.0.2 fixes and is intended for 3.0.3 or beyond, please ignore me!
