ES Toolbar Layout and Settings

Hi

Am trying to turn off functions in the ES toolbar but it doesn't seen to want to play ball!

I was using Frosty theme but it only seems to want to display using Elegant, and only want the profile dropdown, events, photos and video links.
However, when I disable friends, notifications, friend requests etc, they still show?

Am I missing something?
