I’ve never used the repost option, but all it seems to do is crop the top line and puts it as a photo/image, in a new post. There’s nothing you can click on or even expand as it is just a photo/image!
I wouldn’t exactly call that a "repost".
It would be better if the repost worked like other platforms where you can "Share" within the website, and it reposts the whole status/post, in it's entirety.
