ES dropdown module : Hello "firstname" only

Hello,

How to show only first name in the greeting dropdown module in ES ?
some membres have a very long name and its taking lot of space

we would like to show first name only (Hello Mark instead hello Mark LEE for example.
maybe an option can be included in the future in this module.
