Error updating Easyblog

Hi. I went to update Easyblog today from 5.4.13 to 6.0.6 and realised our subscription expired. I renewed our licence and tried updating again and got the error 'Error updating component when using the API from Joomla'. I read through the helpdesk and the answer seemed to be to upload the latest launcher installer. I did so and it now is just 'stuck' on initiating site files, and my blog is no longer accessible on the front end.. we get the error 'Error: 0 - Call to undefined method EasyBlogPagination::get. Hoping you can help us get it working, and get all our blog content back.
