Hi,
Like the Featured Slider from EB http://take.ms/d9s5z i do find usefull if we can control were we can Enable Headers Above Toolbar because if we use Display Mini Header http://take.ms/9gQNd then the content will not be handy.
This can be achieve by adding a cutom module on Frontpage Layout but is more simple by activate this from back-end.
This can be made on EB too but if you activate this to be visible only to Frontpage then, will influence the authors Blog tile and description (will not be displayed).
I hope you find usefull an option like this. Please write your opinion regarding this.
