After uploading several youtube videos I noticed that some thumbnails are not available.
Example video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNltsGMOutg
After careful investigation I have found that youtube crawler (administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/crawler/hooks/youtube.php lines: 66 & 104,105) loads thumbnails in standard quality. This probably not the best solution, because like the documentation says: only some videos have thumbnails in sd format. Alternative could be default, medium or high quality thumbnails.
