Edited posts keep showing as new items on the stream

Compliments of the day,

I have been trying to find how to address the issue mentioned in the subject.

I have Easyblog installed and integrated with with Easysocial.

However, whenever an edit is made to a blog post, it shows on the Easysocial stream as a new item.

Is there a way that only the original post is shown and not subsequent edits?
