EasySocial TimeZone Custom Field

I have read many inquiries in the forum regarding making the custom field - timezone easier for users to use/complete.

Here is my question: How can we change the timezone format to current Joomla timezone format available since 2.5?

See attached screen capture comparison between EasySocial and Joomla timezone formats.

A number of responses indicate EasySocial follows the established timezone field in Joomla, however when I look up the Joomla timezone field since Joomla version 2.5 found here> https://docs.joomla.org/Timezone_form_field_type the resulting drop down list is a different format than currently used in EasySocial.

In general, I think all forum users discussing this issue are asking for the same thing, although in voices only a request for auto-detect timezone is found during my search.

In general, I would suspect few typical users think in terms of the current format: continent/country or major city as shown in EasySocial custom field - timezone. The drop down list found in the Joomla documentation provided above, seems to be the most popular method and that which is requested by users on this forum.... UTC +/-hours and the name of the time zone e.g. (UTC-7:00) Pacific Time. Even if I don't know my UTC -/+ hours I know my time zone is Pacific (USA and Canada). Should we all know what Continent we are part of....sure but then when you ask for directions does everyone provide the right information or know North from South....
