Okay, I finally felt EasySocial was ready for prime time, so I am attempting to disable JomSocial and run on only EasySocial. This would seem easy, but for some reason I am having issues. I ran the migrators successfully and I have tried to disable JomSocial and put EasySocial in its place.
ISSUE #1 - I now get an error message at the top of my EasySocial page and EasyBlog page (but not EasyDiscuss) that says... “Warning: Illegal offset type in isset or empty in /home/content/M/i/c/MichaelLeavitt/html/Sites/UREIG/libraries/joomla/application/menu.php on line 129“. I went to this and the coding means nothing to me. Have you got any ideas?
ISSUE #2 - I have a huge blank section in my EasyDiscuss page from what looks like the JomSocial toolbar that I can’t seem to get rid of, to the start of the EasyDiscuss header. Now that I look at it, the JomSocial bar does not show on EasyDiscuss, but does on EasySocial and EasyBlog..... Hmmm. Go any ideas?
ISSUE #3 - I am trying to figure out how to disable JomSocial but I am not certain of what steps should be taken. I am a pretty good installer, but I don’t have much experience uninstalling Joomla components. Do you have any advice or tutorials for those migrating their sites from JomSocial to EasySocial?
I will quite going through the settings and allow you some time to visit and tweak as needed. Any help that you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
