sorry about my harsh words, but working with Easydiscuss is a pain. I was searching the forums for help about building a traditional like looking forum with it because the heights of the themes is a joke for real.
It is not possible to make a serious forum with these themes. You even prove this by not using one of these by yourself. Instead of that you made an own one which you do not share with your customers though you have been asked for several times before in your forums.
This is very strange, because every other forum developer offers their default template within the package. Try visiting phpBB, Kunena or any else ones. I am not used to build a theme from scratch and my experience is from free components so I am even more surprised having less comfort with a paid component with easydiscuss.
I am in need of a usable theme to start with and the searching inside your forum shows, that I am not alone with this.
Easysocial and easyblog are great but I deeply regret that I bought easydiscuss because with Kunena I would have gone free and with a way better result.
- How to I get information at the page, where all topics are listed, the topic information into 1 or two lines instead of three lines as it is now?
- Where to change 'anwers' and 'views' into icons instead of the words?
- How to make the avatar size smaller on the topics listing but not change the size in the thread view?
- How to make only the online/offline status dot available without the words 'online/offline'?
Do you have appropriate themes for sale at least? I need a MUCH more compact theme without these ridiculous waste of space.
I know your support is outstanding and I do not want to sound unfair or angry at all but I am disappointed when searching for another theme and the only one I find is the one the developer uses himself but do not want to share it.
