I was helping a friend of mine with his site a few days ago, just after the Joomla! 3.4 release and noticed the EasyDiscuss Smart Search Plugin causing some issues. The issues were effecting saving some elements in the backend and frontend (not just in EasyDiscuss) and was rendering the smart search index tool useless.

I wanted to make sure that he report the issue and was/is resolved.
