Easydiscuss Notification Module: login in error

I am using ED notification module. It shows a 'lock' to the Public and when user clicks the lock, a slide down module appears where we can enter user name and password and login the website.

But when log in through it, it always shows the following error:

You are not authorised to view this resource.

This error happens when the login-redirect page is not defined. But this module does not provide any option in backend to provide this. And it does not get the field values from ED component. Please help.
