Hello,

On easyblog 3.8x series version
Recentlt 2 month back - i migrated server to wiredtree
Facing unique issue when creating blog post (its happening only at time of creating a new blog entry) that site other pages tends to slow up

While i raised this time as a serious issue with host they came back
, I'm seeing PHP instances running for 30-40+ seconds, and this seems to be causing the 500 errors your seeing when viewing the sites:

[Thu Aug 13 08:56:08 2015] [warn] [client 122.176.2.242] mod_fcgid: read data timeout in 40 seconds, referer: http://www.xxx.com/index.php?option=com_easyblog&view=dashboard&layout=write&draft_id=642&Itemid=91
[Thu Aug 13 08:56:08 2015] [error] [client 122.176.2.242] Premature end of script headers: index.php, referer: http://www.xxx.com/index.php?option=com_easyblog&view=dashboard&layout=write&draft_id=642&Itemid=91

Since the load is elevated (0.75-1.0) and has been for some time now, and there doesn't appear to be a high amount of traffic, this all seems to be resulting from the site code itself and possible the use of that php handler. I didn't see any other signs of database issues, slowdowns for mysql, or any signs of brute force attacks on the server that would result in this.

My Config are
> 5 GB RAM - Dedicated
> Max Execution - 120 sec
> 32 core with 1 AMD Opetron CPU COre as Dedicated
> 80 GB HDD

Now the host has advise to change php handler from fast-cgi to dso+mod_ruid2
Am unsure - what impact will it have

Pls advise - whats the best php handler can recommend in for compatibility with easyblog and importantly Joomla too and how to avoid error - been the errors happening only at time of creating a new blog post (other site pages gets slow or 500 error shows in)
