Hi Stack Team, see screen capture to help illustrate my issue, that I've had for years, and never thought to ask you guys what I may be doing wrong. So here it is: I wonder how I should save a post after editing it, but rather than pushing it live, make sure it stays "unpublished?"
Here is the workflow problem I am having:
1) I select a post that is currently unpublished, in order to edit it.
2) I edit the post's content.
3) Now, I want to save the post, keeping it unpublished (not live), however:
5) No matter which button I click on to save my changes, the post ends up being saved-but-published, so:
6) I end up going back to the Display All Posts screen to "unpublish" the post.
7) The problem is, for a short period, the article is LIVE, even though it's not ready to publish yet (sensitive information, still in draft form, etc), plus, people who have signed up to get notifications of new posts receive an auto-email from my blog that there is a new article, but since I quickly unpublish it to account for the mistake I'm making, they get a 404 error

...
Am I doing something wrong? Please help a guy out.

Thanks in advance!
