easyblog - how it calculates the number of "hits"

I will understand, when i read an article, easyblog add one hit. But, if i read this article again, a new hit is added after what ? A new hit is added if i have an other IP ? After one hour ? one day ?

I just want to know how easyblog manage the hits.

is it possible to use parameters ?
