Easyblog - comment disabling / EasyDiscuss - Forum Mode

Hi,

I want to know what happend if I disable comment for a blog entry after a bunch of comments are done. I just want that new comments cannot be done, but old ones still showed.

My other questions is, Is possible to turn EasyDiscuss into a regular forum style ? I mean remove completly the Q&A stuff like "ask a question" button. If not, Is that planned ?
