my project needs are as below:
I had to upgrade a Joomla 2.5 website with a large users database - but same time we need to refine the users and actually import them from scratch = thus this means that we won't have the same user ids.
We have easy discuss, but it was not used to much. Just 6 discussions in total. So regarding the posts this is not a big deal. But my question is what will happen with any other tables that contain data linked to specific user ids, like users history, votes, subscriptions etc. Can I truncate these tables ? Will it create any other kind of issues ? Any other thought or suggestion over the topic would be appreciated.
