I wanted to try and get on the table all the issues that I face with easy blog and other too regarding seo.
The main one for me is that of duplicate content due to a few urls showing the same text on the page. So the fix for this is using canonical meta tag which says to use a proffered url for this page instead of counting this as a different page in the eyes of gogle.
I have countless seo people asking me to remove links from posts because they are seen on multiple pages in this way.
I think a better approach for you to take would be to create an seo best practice and setup document that you can keep us referring to. As it stands I don't know why but google doesn't like easy blog posts as much as native joomla articles.
