Do I need Komento? Can someone explain the benefits?

Hello, I'm trying to understand if Komento is worth the investment and time to integrate. I am running both EasyDiscuss and EasyBlog (I will run EasySocial, as soon as it has groups!). Each has their own commenting system that is already in place and which I have already customized. But of course, they are slightly different

I like the idea of having a unified commenting system but dread the idea of integrating yet another component.

So... what will Komento give me that is not already in ED or EB comments? Is it a substantial benefit? And when I install EasySocial, will I *also* have to do work to integrate it with Komento?

Any tips or advice would be appreciated!
